Little Angels Education Society is a premier registered Charitable Trust which has about 38 years of educational and social service to its credit. A new dimension was added to the activities of Little Angels Education Society, when the Little Angels Indian School was founded at Belman in 2003 by our Chairman Mr. P.K. Shetty a dynamic personality with vision, the school was established in order to provide a happy synthesis of the best in the culture and traditions of Indian life and rapidly increasing scientific and technological knowledge. The motto of the School is “Knowledge is Power”. This School is extended with Primary & Secondary in the name of Sri Lakshmi Janardhan School. This school has its own school building at Smt. Kamala K. Shetty Educational Complex, Belman.
Over the years the school has expanded its activities and now caters to the needs of more than 1000 students under the able guidance of a dedicated staff of teachers striving for Schooling for Excellence. The school is affiliated to the CBSE Board New Delhi, has been set up to provide every child opportunity to develop intellectual, creative, social and physical capabilities with an emphasis on human values, respect for our Indian Culture, national integration and international understanding. |

Education has always been a cornerstone of society, the pillar on which the bulwark of human existence rests, the leading light as mankind made his way in quest of the unknown. While the art and science of education may have undergone changes since the time of yore, every educationist strives to instill in every student a sense of virtue and wisdom, sensitivity to the needs of others, the skills, the attitudes and habits that would help them explore and excel, a quest for knowledge and the power of action. All of these would propel each one to an all important goal - Excellence. |

At Sri Lakshmi Janardhan International School, it is our endeavour to delve deeper into the true purpose of education by giving our students opportunities and an environment that is positive, inspiring, challenging and stimulating. Scientists say that as per aerodynamics, the honey bee cannot fly. Its wings are not proportionate to the shape and size of its body and so scientifically speaking it is not possible for the honey bee to fly. But we know that the honey bee flies effortlessly. This is simply because the bee does not know the above fact and is so conditioned by it. The bee is aware of only one thing that it can and is sure to fly, and so it does. Keeping the very principle in mind we in the school endeavor to motivate our budding talents to persevere like the honey bee, and achieve success.

The School aims to develop the personality of our children. Our concern has been to inculcate the fundamental values in our students rather than mere accumulation of knowledge.
We believe in helping every child to develop to the maximum of his / her intellectual, creative, social and physical capabilities, using a pragmatic approach in education.
The child is encouraged to develop a strong self concept which would give confidence not only to tackle different situations as they arise in day to day life but also to give capability to find solutions to problems which the child is likely to meet in future in a rapidly changing society. Great stress is laid on social adjustment and co-operative effort in all the programmes, academic, social, physical and cultural organized by the school
- ‘A sound mind in a sound body’ is ensured by giving every child the benefit of a periodical medical examination. Physical fitness schedules, games, sports and yoga also help towards achieving this objective.
- We ensure harmonious development of the creative and physical abilities of the students. For this purpose hobby centers and skill training are provided.
- Self discipline is inculcated among the students through experience in self government and citizenship training.
- The students imbibe values like honesty, integrity, fair play , compassion and concern for others through academic, social and cultural activities.

The teaching staff takes personal interest in the students and provides an enviable rapport between students and teacher. It is a united team whose members co-operate with and assist one another as they have a common goal – the well being of the child. The excellent results not just in academics but in all fields is perhaps the best testimony to their commitment to ‘schooling for excellence.’
At the beginning of the academic year orientation work–shops are held on the school premises to re-motivate the staff, prevent stagnation and help staff members grow as teachers and individuals. This initial effort is further reinforced by follow-up workshops held during the year. Keeping in mind that education is not static and to keep up with modern innovative techniques, teachers regularly attend seminars conducted in their particular fields.
For planning the syllabus sequentially from the pre-primary level to std. X in the various subject, a team of faculty co-ordinator has been appointed. A continuity in all the subjects is thus maintained which facilitates the learning programme. |
